Isn't Snowden a Traitor?

This article discusses my opinion on the question \"Isn't Snowden a traitor?\" by using an actual discussion from Facebook.
I posted this article to Facebook with the comment, \"Donating to Snowden is now illegal and the U.S. Government can take all your stuff. - Thanks Obama.

I hereby determine that the making of donations of the type of articles specified in section 203(b)(2) of IEEPA (50 U.S.C. 1702(b)(2)) by, to, or for the benefit of any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to section 1 of this order would seriously impair my ability to deal with the national emergency declared in this order, and I hereby prohibit such donations as provided by section 1 of this order...'\"
A friend replied, \"Isn't Snowden a traitor?\" I responded as follows:
Idk man. Is Obama a traitor? Traitor to who? Wtf is America anymore.
I believe the oath is \"...I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic...\" That would arguably make Obama the traitor and Snowden the opposite.
Snowden revealed radical corruption within our government. He revealed the illegal and unconstitutional NSA activity which directly contradicted the NSA's public statements about what they were doing, as well as problems in the DOD, the State department, and more.
It's also true that in doing so he may have made certain government processes less secure (in theory).
It's not at all clear that he actually made anything less secure (in the real world).
It's also hard to call him a traitor when there is no enemy side to place him on. He has been an equal opportunity leaker. He has leaked Chinese info, German info, Brazilian info...
It's not like he hacked the US to benefit Al Qaeda. He hacked the US government to benefit the US population.
Obama definitely considers him a traitor though.
